"Need a Tow?"- This colorful old tow truck photo is available on www.fineartamerica.com. Put in Cindy Carrillo and up should come small thumbnails of several new photos available as reproductions on canvas or photo paper. You can order them framed or sent to you rolled in a tube.
The photo below is from four different pictures taken of old doors in Victor, Colorado. It is called "Passage Ways" and also available as a print or printed on canvas. FAM can mat and frame your print for a very reasonable cost.
Photographers would love the little town of Victor, Co. There are so many old ranches and homes that dot the landscape, old mining equipment just left to sit and rust out and of course wonderful old trucks. The town has a very rich history and is at an elevation of 10,000 feet. Yes, you will need a nap every afternoon.
both of these images were taken in Colorado this summer. The cool cruiser was on Pearl St. in Boulder. The funky old tow truck was on Main St. in Victor, Colorado where I was attending the Victor Celebrates the Arts in August 2010. Both these images are available at www.finartamerica.com Just put in Cindy Carrillo to see my page where you can order reproductions of several of my paintings and photographs.

Yea~! This little 10" x 8" oil called "Retired in Victor" won 3rd Place in the Professional category at Victor Celebrates the Arts. Thank you Tony for the "reviewing prospectives" talk we had just before I painted this old truck! No longer afraid of painting vehicles- I was reeeeeal good at avoiding them but no longer need to. The folks at the VCTA had a nice dinner for all the artists. If you are looking for fancy smancy this is not the Paint out for you, if you want friendly, open people, great views, wonderful old buildings, mountain flowers, real icecream milk shakes- head to Victor to paint.

This painting is going home with me, this lovely old red barn is just east of Hwy. 25 south of Castle Rock, Colorado. This won't count for the Victor competition as it is out of the boundary painting range. It is a keeper painted late afternoon.
"Working Farm" oil on board
