I am now all out of the deep wonderful blue I used to create this fun collage. I use recycled paper salvaged from the trash, and that great deep blue came off the packaging for mandarin organges, the orange came from a cheetos bag and the greens from mono prints I made and tore up. The paint is thick using gouache and acrylic paints. There is some ink, silver foil, a bit of fabric layered between the paper and paint. This is definitely a mixed media piece using anything and everything. The flowers are abstracted and use a strong value contrast.
Start saving beautiful paper, you just have to look at the trash differently, to see it all as an art medium.
